Individual & Group Counseling

School counselor will meet with students on an individual basis to discuss academic, college application, personal and social concerns.  Counselor monitors class scheduling and graduation requirements and credits along with Mrs. Redkey.

Classroom Guidance Lessons

School counselor provides instruction in the classroom during advisory week throughout grades 9 through 12 along with Ms. Haley - Career Center using California Career Zone and other resources.  Lessons focus on keys to A-G academic success, setting goals, budgeting, and exploring careers and colleges to help students plan for their future during and after high school. Additional resources regarding careers are located under Career Center and our NEW EDUHSD Pacific Crest Academy's Career Center website.

Academic Planning

Guide to the College Admission Process!

Meet with Mr. Walker  for your college application.  UC/CSU students self report all "a-g" courses and grades must be reported.

The CSUs will consider course grades of "credit" or "pass" as fulfilling "a-g" requirements for those courses completed during winter, spring, or summer 2020 terms. All other coursework must be graded and a grade of c- or better must be earned for the course to satisfy "a-g" requirements. Grades of credit/pass or no credit/no pas will not be included in the calculation of high school GPA. Click here for more details.

Remember, GPA calculation is different from a-g requirements.  Get a copy of your unoffical transcript to self-report grades by semester for PCA.  Check here for the checklist before meeting with your counselor.

Common Application you don't self-report, get an 'unoffical copy of your transcript.'  Come prepared. Click here to know what you need for the Common Application. Click here for college requirements worksheet.

Resources - Your Career Center will have additional information and resources to pick up. You can also check Canvas - College & Career Information links. Updated monthly by Ms. Haley.

Do you need your transcript sent to a college? Click here for Transcript Request Form, attach this form and email Patty Braun pbraun@eduhsd.k12.ca.us in the office.   She will send your transcript to the college you are requesting.
