Design the New District LOGO

The El Dorado Union High School district would like to a brand new logo.  And they want students to submit designs.  All designs must be complete and submitted the Director at (apalm@eduhsd.net) with your name and grade level in the email.  If you have questions please ask Director Palm.   Here are the only parameters:

1. It has to visually represent our county and school district

2. It should not have any slogans in it

3. The School District's name must be in it

PSAT Registration

Sophomores and Juniors: If you are planning on attending a 4-year college you will likely take the SAT test. The PSAT is a practice test for the SAT.  It is highly advised that all students take the PSAT before taking the SAT.  The test will inform students on what they need to work on before taking the actual SAT.   The PSAT is only offered one day a year at each school site.  This year the Virtual Academy is offering the PSAT on:

SAT/ACT Testing Registration:

Juniors and Senior: If you are going to a 4-year college directly after high school please ensure that you register to take the SAT and ACT tests.  The first due date is coming up fast.

Going to Take an AP Class?

If you plan on taking an AP test but you are not in the corresponding AP class you must register for that with Director Palm at the Virtual Academy before the end of October.  If you are in an AP class you will register for it at the site you are taking it when your teacher tells you to.

Take Classes at Folsom Lake in the Spring

The Spring 2016 Application process for mid-term grads is open (not closing) on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015.  All interested students are advised to fill out the application and begin the pre-enrollment process.  More information about this process can be found at http://www.flc.losrios.edu/new-students; student should follow the steps and timeline explained on this page.
